Why choose Facial Dermal Fillers?

As we age the skins natural collagen content reduces, leaving us with less shape and volume. Additional factors such as smoking, air pollution, sun exposure and stress may speed the ageing process. Dermal fillers work to replace the lost volume giving you a refreshed and healthy look.

Dermal fillers are an approved non-surgical cosmetic procedure. It is a versatile anti-ageing treatment that works to enhance definition. It acts by reducing fine lines and skin creases as well as plumping and contouring the face providing a youthful appearance.

Dermal Filler type

At the Facial Enhancement Suite we only use Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based fillers that typically last four to six months. As we age the skin loses HA, therefore replacing this lost volume improves aesthetics that gives you a refreshed appearance.

Technique

On the treatment day you will be made to feel comfortable in a relaxed environment. Once the clinician has gained informed written consent, confidential photographs will be taken. Next topical anaesthetic cream will be applied (+/- local anaesthetic injections) to the site to be treated for approximately 30 minutes. Then the skin will be cleansed and the filler will be deposited in a technique sensitive manner aiming to reduce the number of injections.

When one side of the face is treated, you will then be shown the result and if satisfied, the clinician will continue to complete the treatment to provide you with a symmetric and aesthetic result. Finally photographs will be taken to demonstrate the before and after result which is mandatory and kept confidential unless you opt for them to be used for teaching or marketing purposes.

There is minimal down time and people tend to continue with their daily activities as normal.
