What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a form of therapy in which fine blunted needles are inserted into specific trigger points. A technique which has been known in Chinese medicine for at least 4000 years. Authentic chinese medicine is based upon the philosophy of Yin & Yang as well as the five elements: Earth, Fire, Water, Metal and wood.
Is Acupuncture Safe?
Acupuncture is generally very safe. Serious side effects are very rare- less than one per 10,000 treatments.

Starting with a thorough consultation to understand your pain. Once the clinician is able to establish if acupuncture is right for you, professional consent will be taken. Then in a relaxed environment combining soft instrumental sounds with aromatherapy, trigger points will be established and needles positioned. Treatment typically lasts between 10-30 minutes.
An average of five courses is advised to see an adequate improvement from the therapy.
